BELL TIMES 2010

Bell times are currently 40 minutes in duration. As part of the review into the senior school organisation and sharing classes (RASP) with Willyama HS it has been decided to move back to longer periods. From 2010 there will be 6 - 53 minute periods. For seniors studying at the new Trade training center there will be more flexible times to allow them to access the new facilities at both sites. The actual bell times will be available for download within the next few weeks.

 

2010 INFORMATION Year 7 into 8 and Year 8 into 9 Electives

There will be an elective selection information evening for Parents and Students in Years 7 (going into 8) and Year 8 (going into 9) this Wednesday the 19th of August. The meeting will be held at 7 pm in the staff common room. This is a great opportunity to discuss possible subject selections with staff and the Deputy Principals.

Year 8 electives are studied for 1 year. The Year 9 electives are studied for the School certificate. Students will study the electives chosen on the Y & Z lines for two years completing 2 - 200 hour courses. On the X line students will study a 100 hour course in Year 9 and re-select another course for 100 hours in Year 10 2011.
