There will be an elective selection information evening for Parents and Students in Years 7 (going into 8) and Year 8 (going into 9) this Wednesday the 19th of August. The meeting will be held at 7 pm in the staff common room. This is a great opportunity to discuss possible subject selections with staff and the Deputy Principals.
Year 8 electives are studied for 1 year. The Year 9 electives are studied for the School certificate. Students will study the electives chosen on the Y & Z lines for two years completing 2 - 200 hour courses. On the X line students will study a 100 hour course in Year 9 and re-select another course for 100 hours in Year 10 2011.
